Michael Johns new Director of Tennis
It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the Boathouse’s first Director of Tennis. To have been chosen to be part of this exceptional team of professionals is truly an honor. The commitment to excellence at The Boathouse is apparent and I am very excited to bring you a tennis program that will exceed your expectations.
Over the past 17 years, I have had the good fortune of working at some of the finer tennis facilities in the country as both a tennis instructor and director. The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, The Farmington Farms Tennis & Athletic Club in Farmington, CT and most recently, Farm Neck Golf Club on Martha’s Vineyard. Working along side current and former world class tennis professionals helped me to develop many of the teaching philosophies that I carry on the court with me today. Equally important are the tennis philosophies that I developed off the court. Providing members, their families and guests with an exceptional tennis experience by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere where players of all ages and abilities can enjoy the game.
