The Kid's programs are tailored to meet the special interests and needs of our young members. We have an exciting schedule of activities planned for the 2012 summer season. For children ages 3 - 11 years old, we have a daily program that encourages junior members to meet new friends and experience a wide range of activities at the Club. The programs run 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Friday starting June 25th until August 24th. To make each week unique and special, we have planned different themes each week. Children can attend by the day or the week as best fits a family’s summer schedule. Reservations for Kid’s Programs are required and can be made by the day or the week by contacting the Kid’s Activities Desk.
In addition, there are youth programs throughout the week. New for this summer, on Tuesday nights we have Teen Tennis Nights and on Wednesdays we have Family Game Night at The Field Club. On Thursdays we have Teen Night Out (TNO), which is designed for teens ages 13-17 and provides recreational and social activities for Boathouse Junior Members. The evening includes dinner and activities tailored to this age group. We will again offer Kid's Night Out (KNO) on Saturday Nights. This program is for kids 6-12 years old and includes dinner, games, crafts and fun.
The pools will be opening for the summer season on Friday, June 15th. Lifeguards will be on duty at the family pool during the daily hours of operation from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. The Lap pool will operate from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. One-on-one swimming lessons are offered daily (based on availability) by our experienced instructors. The Boathouse Swim Squad will meet on Thursdays from 4pm – 5pm and is for children that are currently involved in a swim team and looking to continue to practice during the summer.
