2010 Program
The Kid's Camps are tailored to meet the special interests and needs of our young members. For the 2010 summer season, we have two camps established. The First Mates Camp is for children ages 3-5 years old and offers three hours of fun and games for our younger members. The Skippers Camp is for children ages 6-12 years old and allows them to meet new friends and experience a wide range of activities at the Club. The camps will run 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday through Friday starting June 28th until August 20th. To make each week at the camp unique and special, we have planned different themes each week. Children can attend by the day or the week as best fits a family’s summer schedule. There will no fees for these programs, however if a field trip is planned or swimming lessons are scheduled during the camp session there will be an additional fee. Reservations for Kid’s Camps are required and can be made by the day or the week by contacting the Kid’s Activities Desk.
In addition to the camps, we will be having a youth program on Friday and Saturday evenings, July 2nd through August 21st. On Friday nights our new Teen Night Out (TNO) is designed for teens ages 13-17 and will provide recreational and social activities for Boathouse Junior Members. The evening includes dinner and activities tailored to this age group. On Saturday nights we will again offer Kid’s Night Out (KNO). This program is for kids 6-12 years old and includes dinner, games, crafts and fun.
The pools will be opening for the summer season on Friday, June 18th. Lifeguards will be on duty at the family pool during the daily hours of operation from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. The Lap pool will operate from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. One-on-one swimming lessons are offered daily (based on availability) by our experienced instructors. The Boathouse Swim Squad will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm – 5pm and is for children that are currently involved in a swim team and looking to continue to practice during the summer.
