The heart of the Club will be a newly built 10,000 sq. ft, turn of the century, shingle- style, three-story building on Edgartown harbor. Presently under construction and scheduled to open in the summer of 2008, this building promises to preserve and enhance the charm of Edgartown and provide exceptional waterfront dining for Boathouse members and their guests. There will be several indoor dining areas and a separate bar, all with spectacular views overlooking historic Edgartown harbor. The restaurant will be one of the finest on the island and feature fresh local produce served in a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Open for lunch and dinner daily, members and friends will enjoy coming together for good company, fine food and attentive service.

Located less than two miles from Edgartown, and moments away from one of the island’s premier beaches, the Field Club offers recreation and five-star amenities previously unavailable on Martha’s Vineyard. Set amongst 7.5 acres of manicured grounds there will be a clubhouse, restaurant, three pools, tennis pavilion, state-of-the-art fitness center and full service spa. Our professional staff will be on-hand to sharpen or improve your tennis game, guide and support you in your fitness goals, help you to develop news skills and pastimes or simply to pamper you in the spa.

Our goal was to design and build one of the
premier tennis facilities on the east coast. Global
Sports and Tennis Design group has designed
renowned tennis facilities throughout the world and has
accumulated 65 national facility
awards. Princeton Racquet Club,
the US Open facility and The White
House are just a sampling of their
projects. Scott Burtoft of Lawn and
Tennis Supply specializes in building
grass tennis courts and, for over
twenty years, has been recognized
as one of the leading experts in
grass court construction. Dave
Marsden, CTCB of Boston Tennis,
is constructing the seven Har-Tru
courts and has over thirty five years
experience in the New England region. Reilly Green
Mountain Platform Tennis is constructing our two paddle
tennis courts and is arguably the leading company in that
industry.
